Amazon published Crucible’s official system requirements. The following system is the minimum required hardware to play Crucible, according to Amazon, Crucible’s publisher:
- OS: Windows 7 64-bit
- Processor: Intel i5-3570 or AMD FX-6300
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: GTX 660 or ATI Radeon HD 6950
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 15 GB available space
Those seem like fairly low minimum requirements for Crucible , we don’t know how much FPS a player can expect with these though.
Looking at the recommended requirements, it seems like Crucible does take advantage of multiple cores, because especially the CPU requirements are still pretty low. The GPU requirements are also low, but not as low.
This are the recommended system requirements for Crucible, according to Amazon:
- OS: Windows 10
- Processor: Intel i5-6500 (3.2 Ghz) or AMD Ryzen 3 2200G
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 570
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection

As soon as we have access to the game and it seems to be running stable we’ll take a look at the real requirements for Crucible, especially for 100+ FPS.
So far, if the requirements should be close enough to the real world scenario, it seems like that Crucible will be running well and it should be easy to archive competitive FPS and low frame times. If it’s really the case and if Crucible will run well on your PC will be seen.
We are working on a settings guide for Crucible, so check that out too!
Crucible System Requirements FAQ
So far it doesn’t seem like it. Crucible uses EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat) as anti-cheat software, which is usually what makes or brakes Mac support, so it should be possible. If Crucible will ever release on Mac is unknown though.
We don’t think Amazon will ever release Crucible for Linux. It might be runnable with compatibility layers like Valve’s Proton. We’ll keep an eye on that after release.
