Green or pink flickering screen in Radical Heights

DON’T JUST USE WINDOWED FULLSCREEN MODE TO FIX IT! IT COSTS PERFORMANCE AND ADDS ADDITIONAL INPUT-LAG.

A green or pink flickering screen is a known bug with NVIDIA cards, Windows 10 and monitors receiving wrong color information for the running application.

The fix is easy though and you don’t need to switch to windowed fullscreen.

• Just open the NVIDIA Control Panel, for example by right-clicking your Desktop and choosing it from the context menu.
• Choose Change resolution in the menu on the left under Display.
• Scroll down to the color settings and choose “Use NVIDIA color settings.” Make sure the Output color depth is set to 8 bpc.
• Apply the settings on the lower right and it should be fixed. GL & HF in Radical Heights, without getting a seizure!

Can’t press PLAY button

If the PLAY button in Radical Heights is greyed out, it’s usually to unresponsive servers or your game not being ready yet.

If it happens after you just started the game, just give it a moment. There are reports of people where it takes up to multiple minutes after the first game start.

If it happens after you already played, the servers might not be responding. Especially during it’s early days now, they might be overloaded and it may take its time.
Sometimes you can press the button already, but don’t get any feedback. It will take a short amount of time and still start a game and connect you to a lobby. Just have patience.

Low Memory Warning

Radical Heights has a minimum requirement of 6 Gigabytes of System RAM. Non Radical Heights processes are currently using X Gigabytes of RAM. We advise closing other applications.

Solution:

As long as you have at least 8 GB of RAM you’re good to go. Just close unnecessary applications like browsers. It’s possible that even if you closed all other running applications, you still get that message. No worries, you should still be able to play without any problems.

If you have less than 8GB RAM in your system. Sorry mate, it’s time to upgrade.

Stuck in the loading screen after pressing PLAY

If you get stuck in the loading screen after pressing play and the game won’t load after you wait a while, just restart.

If you’re in central in the US, switching regions might help too if you run into this problem multiple times in a row.

The connection to the current game was unexpectedly closed

You either timed out yourself and lost connection this way or, also possible in the game’s early state, the server crashed or dropped you. There is not much you can do about it. Unfortunately there is no reconnect option yet.
